Freedom writers, Anne Frank, Games, The Vow, contagion ,and more!!

Mrs. Lent turned to her fifth period english class.
"Who knows who the freedom riders are??" A girl in the fifth row, thiurd seat back raised her hand and said, not waiting to be callled on,
"I do! I love that movie!"
Other kids nodded their heads in an agreement not noticing Mrs.Lents eyebrows being sown together, in the confused look she often had teaching 8th graders.
"I didnt know there was a movie... We are talking about the same thing, right Ella?"
"Who are you talking about? The kids who met the woman who housed Anne Frank and who wrote a book?" Ella said confused.
"No, Im talking about the people who rode the buses-"
"Well, in the movie IM talking about they watch a video about the freedom riders...."
Mrs. Lent laughed untill it hurt.

So that little clip was not from a story I am writing. That was actually the other day when we watched a video of Rosa parks and I just happened to write it like that(:
Last year I was in the library and Tyler and I got the diary of Anne Frank together and we were going to have a race who finished it first.... Actually neither of us did! Ill tell you the reasons why-
Anne Frank is sooooo full of herself! Have you read it? She even states that, infacted, if she dropped a hankercheif infront of any boy in the world they would gladly pick it up for her! SERIOUSLY? Okay, she went through a lot but i couldnt get through the biggening with her snobynes!!! I admit that shes pretty and its a cool story but.... i dont know. Do i probably sound like a snob in my journal? Probably, but would I go to that exctent? No! Uh it just makes me mad...
Anyway Me and kaela have been reading the freedom writers diary all weekend(: Its really good!!!

THE VOW: CUTEST MOST SADDEST MOST AMAZING MOST FUNNY MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! Its seriously the cutest thing ever! I got chills like the whole time! I almost cried like five times and i wouldve if there wasnt someone I didnt know nest to me(: GO TO IT! ITS MY MOST FAVORITEST MOVIE(:

OTHER MOVIES: this week me and kaela rented two movies, The art of getting by (okay) and Contagion (better then the last one but not that good) We tryed not to touch our face for the rest of the night! haha

DRAMA BEFORE THE GAME:  Okay so long story for you. During the 7th grade game, on thursday around halftime, We all walk into the locker room and Em's crying hystarically. She keeps saying she hates mady and that shes going to kill mady. Im not a huge drama type so I just kinda want to roll my eyes but i asked what happened. Shes like, "I dont know! I saw her getting into a cop car!" We were freaking out. Shantell comes in and tells us they brook into an old hospital. Then the rest of the team floods in and they are all confused. I start to explain and Shantell hits me in the arm. I turned around alittle mad and was like "yes?"
Shes like,
"DOnt tell everyone!"
"they will all know soon! and they diserve to know! Shes our team mate!"
Coach comes in and trys to calm us down, us all crying. When we were calm down and we were ditermined to win the game, for mady, she walks in. We attacked her in a group hug. She explained what happened and apoligized a million times. We were just glad she was okay. Her mom got a truspassing ticket, thats it. I made a basket that game and mady was a top scorer. We lost though, best game yet.

  1. I LOVED the Vow too! Don't really know anything about the other stuff you wrote about cause I don't read:) Your bb team does sound like drama though, but I'm glad you guys seem to be improving every game. Love ya, girl!

  3. Funny about the Freedom Riders! Yes, teachers of 8th graders are often confused!! You seem to have a lot of drama queens on your basketball team--wouldn't want to be the coach! Good job on improving, though! Anna Frank was a Jewish girls who lived in a secret room, fearing for her life every minute of every day. She had a right to dream a little! So, forgive her, and finish reading the book! Love you
